I had the pleasure of joining a private dinner organized by Réseau Terrains, bringing together a small group of developers, investors, and real estate professionals for an open discussion on the future of development in Québec.
What made the evening special was not the venue or the format, but the quality of the conversations. Around the table, we exchanged perspectives on land acquisition, project feasibility, financing realities, regulatory challenges, and the opportunities emerging in today’s market.
One theme came up repeatedly: successful projects are rarely built by one person alone. They are the result of strong relationships, complementary expertise, and trust between stakeholders.
I was grateful for the opportunity to share my journey as founder of CHIA Real Estate, along with lessons learned from working on development land and large-scale commercial real estate transactions across Québec.
